Meet Susan Conklin

smc2013Susan Conklin is a university-level instructor, consultant, and trainer. She uses her 30 years of corporate experience managing people and projects to design and facilitate training programs that improve business performance; her goal is to inspire individuals and help organizations evolve.

With an MBA from Syracuse University, and experience in global companies such as General Electric and Carrier Corporation, Susan effectively blends theory and practice to deliver relevant marketing, leadership, and organizational support to a diverse client base. She inherently understands today’s business challenges and, as a strategic business partner, is a catalyst for innovative solutions that address those challenges. Susan is a faculty member at Syracuse University and Columbia College, where she teaches courses in leadership, management, and cultural studies.

Susan is also an accomplished practitioner and instructor of Tai Chi Chuan, which influences her teaching by promoting life balance and imparting a holistic quality to her worldview. Her 20-year exploration of Eastern philosophies, meditation, and healing techniques allows her to impart an understanding and application of energy use in her teaching. Susan’s philosophy espouses that when universal connections are recognized and used in management, an entire organization can spiral upward in profound ways.
